Haircuts for long hair???

ok well my hair is 2 inches above my bellt button

its striaght

thin

i have a side part right now from side bangs which i am in the process of growing out (theyre like an inch below my chin)

ok well i just REALLY need some ideas for a haircut

i was thinking of getting it tapered but im really not sure

o ya i want 2 keep the length i dont want side bangs agin but im willing 2 try layers and things like that : ]

Seriously, if your hair is as thin and long as you say it is, then getting layers or getting it tapered probably won't give it the volume you're looking for. There's a reason why that majority of hairstyle in hair books at for hair that's armpit length and shorter. When my hair was your length, I found that I had the same problem too because my hair is very flat. At that length, the best you can do it style if nicely and take care of it. Try to use a volumizing mousse if you can, but your going to have an uphill battle to get your hair to do anything

I'm a hair stylist...a agree with the 1st answer if you have thin hair layers wouldn't turn out successful! And if you have long thin hair I wouldn't cut it! I would maybe get a perm and then trim it! You hair will be little shorter than with it straight and when you go to straighten it it will be the same length! I work at Borics, and a former worker at great clips!
