the short hair in the front goes up in the air, doesnt settle and makes it looks like i have sun rays arnd my face( the sun). :-( :-)

I have wavy hair too and even when I straigten those hairs, they always find some way to wave back up. I usually use a light gel, one that doesnt get hard so you can touchup without the buildup, or i use a serum on the hairline. You can also try a pomade that lays those tiny hairs down. Those hairs around your hairline are always short, more like babyhairs, and there harder to tame, so they get frizzy faster.

i have the same problem sometimes, and what i do is spray a whole lot of hairspray on a brush with metal whatchamacallits, then brush it back, as far as the tiny hairs go.

whenever i scrunch my hair i get that too. i usually put garnier fructis sleeker on those hairs,then smooth them down

I have the same problem... I just keep my hair out, so the longer wavy to straight hair is combed to cover the short frizzy ones.

Yeah, it's a cop-out but it works for me. I'm always a bit lost when I absolutely have to have a ponytail...
